How the Heck Did this Happen?

Our Bookclub had very humble beginnings.

After bingeing Sarah J. Maas's worldwide best seller, A Court of Thorns and Roses, Mary and I decided to read Throne of Glass (best series of all time in my humble opinion) and we would discuss the books on our daily walks with our dogs Frankie & Ginny.

Next thing you know, we are having cosy nights in drinking hot chocolate, listening to a Velaris playlist and chatting all things Romantasy. And then we suddenly thought, so many of our friends would LOVE this! And so the Bookclub was born. We had our first meeting around the fire pit in Glasgow's west end and its grown in numbers with every meeting.

As the Bookclub expanded, we brought on the lovely Amy to keep things running smoothly. If you join our Bookclub, you can opt in for monthly newsletters from Amy and the Team, where we shine a spotlight on fantasy creators and artists. From fantasy photoshoots, to sword fighting classes, this newsletter shows the best Glasgow has to offer.
